Same. The rationale being at least they are used to winning things and this won't be a big deal, whereas if those spurs cunts win they won't shut up about it for fucking ages.
Best hope is that Wembley is struck by an asteroid while the game is on.

But it's not really a cup final song per se is it? We were singing it as a club way before 1975. Just so happens they recorded a version of the club song for the cup which is still played.
I suppose they still use that one as only the cockney rejects have made a more modern version and it doesn't really have universal appeal.
And what someone else has said on this thread is true- no doubt we'd probably do something quite embarrassing as well next time we get to a cup final. It's a problem with football these days.

Get used to it, it's our future. I used to rip the piss out of them for their 'Spurs' aftershave but nowadays every club is all about fleecing the shekel.

It's awfully out of date. I don't even know the instrument that it starts with but it's crap. I prefer to sing bubbles without the 75 cup final song in the background.
Still, I wouldn't take the piss out of any other side making one, considering my club have been singing a cup final song before i was even born.

Yeah, but that's just the most popular version of our club's song. We don't play it because we're clinging on to the fact we won the cup in 1975.
